Shooting video in Cuba is always done under the most difficult of circumstances, but the results after finding "Golden" people like some of the self-taught musicians and artists are what makes it all worthwhile!
After 9 years of all the hardships getting to Cuba to shoot, with each event captured, every new Cuban friend made and all the other magnificent experiences that unfold while discovering the real Cuba and its culture are all a part of what the documentary "Viva Cuba!" is about.
The music video edits on this page were given on DVD to the bands to promote themselves.
Even when you watch these quick 1st pass edits you truly get the interesting perspectives and feelings of the Cuban people, that are so strong in mind & spirit, amidst the pain of deprived living. It is like stepping back in time.
